This is taken in the town of Candiac which is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in the Canadian province of Quebec; it is located on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River opposite Montreal near La Prairie. Access to the water level is quite limited but it has afforded me some glorious afternoons over a period of a few years.
